My name is Rachel and I am a Coloradan. I live in California now, but I grew up in Colorado and still consider myself an enthusastic Coloradan. I am a wife (a very new wife, going on 2 1/2 months now... and loving it! Marriage is wonderful...I would highly recommend it!) I love my husband and think he is just about one of the manliest men around. He is from California, grew up in Huntington Beach, but you would never guess it...I think he was actually adopted from Colorado. I am a skeptic...sometimes wish I wasn't but I have come to accept it. Despite my skepticism, I am also a Christ follower. Faith isn't easy, but I wrestle for mine daily because I believe it is true and it is worth fighting for. I respect the tough questions about life, death, God, truth and faith. I believe there are significant and real hindrances to faith and I do not judge, but respect those who wrestle with these difficult issues. I am an adventurer. I love a good, exciting, challenging adventure. I am competitive and love games. My husband beat me at yatzee last night and I am still mad about it! I am an aunt. I have a niece and nephew who I absolutely love! I am a student and I am a procrastinator. I have been in school now for a total of: 20 years! Wow, that makes me feel old! I am a little sister and a daughter. I am the youngest of three and I love my family very much. I have always looked up to my 'big' sister and brother and they have proven to be good role models, protectors and friends. Likewise, I have two wonderful parents who have taught me show much about life and faith and unconditional love.

I am also now a daughter and sister-in-law in an awesome family! That is why I started this journal. My new brother-in-law and his wife both have blogs and I thought it looked pretty fun so I decided to start one too!
